Sunday River Resort Hosts New England Golf Camp
Partnership between resort, golf course, and camp provides potential students with an ideal summer camp experience
Newry, Maine (Summer 2013)—Sunday River Resort is proud to announce that this summer it will host the New England Golf Camp—a sleepaway summer camp for girls and boys ages 12 through 17 who are passionately focused on the game of golf.
By day, students will receive instruction from the pros of the New England Golf Camp at the award-winning, Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed, Sunday River Golf Club, and by night take advantage of resort lodging, meals, and activities such as ziplining, a Bungee Trampoline, and nine-hole disc golf course.
“This is the first time Sunday River has hosted a camp like this,” Nick Lambert, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sunday River, says. “It’s a great opportunity to combine what the resort and golf course have to offer, as well as build awareness of this sport and our brands with a young audience.”
The camp will feature six one-week sessions beginning June 30, 2013. All week-long camps begin on Sunday and end on Saturday.
Tuition for the New England Golf Camp is $1,975 and includes room and board at Sunday River Resort; private and small group instruction and video analysis; greens and range fees; elite, advanced, and intermediate programs, tournament play, camp activities, and more. Airport transportation and rental clubs are also available to purchase.
