• Hungry for something to do? Let’s cut to the real meat of things, if you will. It's national turkey weekend and you're looking to plan your vacation out in "Grand style" meaning first and foremost - a place to take in the savory flavors of all kinds of poultry goodness. Give thanks because there are not one, but two traditional turkey dinners to choose from at either Legends Restaurant located in our Grand Summit  Hotel, or Grand Avenue Restaurant in the Jordan Grand Hotel. Plus, while you're there you can participate in family-friendly games, movies, crafts, and entertainment.

Annual Demo Days

• Saturday & Sunday ~ 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  Also over Thanksgiving Weekend, Sunday River is hosting its annual Demo Days. For $10, you can try products from major manufacturers who are slated to participate, such as Fischer, Salomon, Head, Ramp, Dynastar, K-2, Atomic,and Rossignol. Registration is from 8 a.m.–12 p.m. Like what you tested? That $10 goes toward your purchase if you buy your equipment from Sunday River Sports!
  

Après and Nighttime Entertainment

  Friday 3 p.m.
  According to dailyholidays.net it's National Tie One On Day! So do your part and join us for an Apres Ski Party at the Foggy Goggle with the Dave Grange Dou and tie one on.
  
• Legends at the Grand Summit Hotel - Denny Breau  
  Friday 7 p.m. 
  Denny Breau’s rhythmically flawless and dazzlingly clear style allows him to do amazing and stunning things with a six-string guitar. He first draws in an audience with a finely arranged melody and then slides effortlessly into scorching fingerwork that sets ears aflame. 
  
• Barker Bar Mug Club Party
  Poke Chop and the Other White Meat
  Friday 6 p.m
  At 6 pm, the tradition continues…all new and existing Mug Club Members are invited to an exclusive party just for them.The Barker Bar will feature live entertainment by Poke Chopand the Other White Meat, and the Mug Club Lottery for nemembers. From New Orleans to Chicago...this band is influenced by many the storied and soulful blues acts up and down the Mississippi, Burnside, Carville, Baton Rouge, Lettsworth, Blackhawk and Waterproof.  But that's not to say you won't find some west coast swing or a little Texas twang in an evening's performance.
   
• Apres Ski Party at the Foggy Goggle with Royal Hammer
  Saturday 3 p.m.
  Royal Hammer is a six-piece roots reggae group from Portland, Maine. Heavily influenced by Gregory Isaacs, Sugar Minott, Dennis Brown, and Roots Radics, Royal Hammer takes pride in the authenticity of their sound with grooves that are deep and infectious.
  

Fireworks

• Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
  Watch as a brilliant display of colors light up the winter sky above the slopes of Sunday River, best viewed slopeside at South Ridge, or deckside at the Foggy Goggle. Presented by RS Fireworks.
  
  

Local Holiday Craft & Wares Fair

• Friday 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
  Thirty-five local crafters will be offering their creations at this craft fair in the Bethel Inn Resort Conference Center. Here you will find knit items, baskets, quilts & quilted items, handmade jewelry, jams, jellies, pickles, holiday decorations, photography, paintings, fiber art, weaving, soaps, creams, lotions, balsam products, wooden items, and more.  Ziplines

  Now that you're supremely stuffed with good food and even better ideas, consider these ways to burn off those added calories starting with a Zipline Tour! That's right, we're opening up our Zipline Tour course for four days of fun starting on Thursday, November 22 and will run tours two times a day through Sunday with tours taking place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tour prices are $49 per person for season passholders or with a lift ticket valid the same day, or $59 without a pass or lift ticket.
