Dining at Sunday River is all about variety. Between the resort, the access road and the town of Bethel, you'll find options ranging from fine dining and sushi to pizza and our own microbrewery. Below you'll find a listings of on-mountain dining options. For more information on other area bars and restaurants, visit the Bethel Chamber of Commerce. All on-mountain restaurants are serviced by the resort trolley system, and most access road and Bethel locations are serviced by the Mountain Explorer shuttle.

Peak Dinners
Dinner affairs at the mid-mountain Peak Lodge
Ride the Chondola to our mid-mountain Peak Lodge for a unique dining experience. Peak Dinners are the perfect way to enjoy an evening in the mountains, and an unforgettable meal. Throughout the winter we will offer a variety of dinners for every occasion. From a pizza buffet with Eddy the Yeti for the family to a number of different beer and wine dinners to a Valentine’s Day fine dining dinner for two, there will be something for everyone. Cho Sun at South Ridge
Sushi and Noodle Bar
Adding more variety in food options to the South Ridge Lodge is Cho Sun, serving up a variety of Japanese and Korean food options along with a full bar. Japanese and Korean cuisines are well-balanced and low in calories. (Sunday River Dining Card not accepted).

Hottest Après on the Coolest Mountain
No ski day is complete without a stop by the Foggy Goggle, home of the longest après ski party in the East and the popular Bud Light Music Series! The Foggy Goggle features a fun and new food menu that includes burgers, chili, chowder, daily soups, its famous nachos, and lobster mac ’n’ cheese. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options too! Specialty drinks are Foggy Goggle’s claim to fame. The Foggy Goggle is located on the third floor of the South Ridge Lodge. 207-824-5056.

Burgers & Beer to Steaks & Cabernet
From spicy buffalo wings to seared Maine diver scallops, Chef Chad and his culinary team are ready to satisfy any craving. Legends features made in Maine ingredients in many of our items including fresh-cut French fries grown locally at Green Thumb Farms in Fryeburg, Maine. Our winter menu offers steak, fresh seafood, and pasta that can paired with our many contemporary wine selections such as Michael Honig's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon or great cold beer from the Shipyard Brewery in Portland Maine. We have expanded our pub and appetizer menus for times when you’re looking for a light meal or a more casual dining experience. We will be presenting live acoustic entertainment every Friday and Saturday night and a wine tasting every Saturday afternoon during the ski season. What’s better than a ski-in/ski-out pub with amazing food? How about adding a wraparound deck with sweeping views of Jordan Bowl and a menu that serves up traditional favorites as well as unique offerings?! Après entertainment on Saturday afternoons makes Sliders a great place to relax and unwind after a tremendous day on the hill. For dinner, enjoy a glass of wine with one of the many featured specials, such as wine-braised short ribs, cedar-planked salmon, or other marvelous mouth-watering chef creations. Breakfast in our Grand Hotels
Eat a hearty breakfast before hitting the slopes. Both Legends at the Grand Summit Hotel and Grand Ave at the Jordan Grand Hotel offer a daily breakfast buffet that includes an ever-changing variety of fresh fruit, egg dishes, pancakes, cinnamon French toast, applewood-smoked bacon, breakfast sausage, breakfast potatoes, danish, and pastries, as well as a crepe and omelet station in the dining room.

South Ridge Food Court
Variety & Healthy Options
South Ridge offers the biggest variety of food items at the resort. You can still find the traditional food court favorites, but additionally the kitchen serves up a full menu of healthy options that include a salad bar featuring local Maine produce when it’s available, fruit cups, veggie plates, yogurt parfaits, vegan gluten-free chili, grilled eggplant, roasted veggie pita, and bottled beverages made with pure cane sugar. Barker Lodge is where it all started. Fifty-one years later, we are still serving traditional fare at reasonable prices. Ready to take care of the ski bum in all of you, Barker has everything you’d expect in a base lodge food court at prices you would not. The menu consists of a delicious cheese burger, grilled cheese, and peanut butter & jelly. Unique & Non-Traditional
Not your traditional cafeteria; there are no French fries here. The Peak features Asian-inspired options cooked in front of you in a large woks, baked Maine potatoes with a great variety of toppings, freshly made gourmet sandwiches, flatbread pizza with fresh organic toppings, internationally renowned cinnamon buns and Bloody Mary’s that are almost a meal in themselves. Out on the redesigned deck you can find a smoker on the weekends that will allow us to serve smoked meats and other delicious specials while surrounded by spectacular views of Maine’s Mahoosuc Mountain Range. Grand Ave in the Jordan Grand Hotel offers an outstanding buffet breakfast to hotel guests and visitors during the winter season, and opens Thursday nights with an exclusive Tasting Menu featuring multiple courses created weekly by our executive chef, Jennifer Himes.
