Today at Sunday River

Things revolving around the snow report this afternoon continue to be a bit on the tricky side. Today's mixed precipitation looks to continue into the night time with 1-3" of snow in the forecast for the higher elevations this evening and overnight, followed by warmer weather starting on Monday when the snow moves out kicking off another week of great weather. Late tonight our full fleet of groomers will be out in force across the mountain, starting in the center and working their way to each side of the resort getting the snow into tip top shape for the morning. With tonight's snow dictating a late start for grooming to ensure the best possible conditions for tomorrow, you can expect late openings on White Cap, Aurora and Jordan Bowl. As always we will be in tomorrow morning with a full pot of coffee and a smile, ready to pass along the latest updates on the most dependable snow in New England.

Snow conditions this afternoon will be varied based upon elevation, so please take this into consideration as you make your turns. Please also keep in mind that high traffic areas do exist, such as where trails merge and slow zones, and could have different conditions then the rest of the trail. As always, Go With the Flow and be aware of where you ski and ride.
