Slopeside Lodging

Sunday River has over 700 condominiums and two Grand Resort Hotels, all with convenient slopeside access. Add that all up, and you have the most slopeside lodging in the East. Include the cozy Snow Cap Inn and your options for lodging are covered.

Snow

With the most dependable snow in New England, you can book your trip in advance with confidence. At Sunday River, snow is our passion. We have one of the most powerful snowmaking systems in the East, and a veteran team of snowmakers who are passionate about what they do. For you, it means snow conditions you can count on. New this year is nearly $2 million worth of snowmaking upgrades including a fleet of fan guns. Our supple natural snowfall, snowmaking capabilities and expreienced team of groomers combine to create an immaculate snow surface no matter what Mother Nature has in store.

Terrain & Lifts

With 131 trails and glades covering eight interconnected mountains, there's plenty of skiing and riding to satisfy every member of your group. The resort is serviced by a network of 16 lifts, including the first Chondola in the eastern region United States and four high-speed quads ensuring easy access to every corner of the resort and an enjoyable experience for all abilities.

Après Ski

After the slopes close, the fun goes on at our on-mountain White Cap Fun Center, which offers snow tubing, ice skating, dining, live music and more. Don't forget that the Foggy Goggle après-ski bar "reigns as monarch of the late afternoon apres-ski scene" according to the Boston Globe. Off-mountain, you can explore the Maine woods on snowshoes, snowmobiles, or cross-country skis. Or if you'd prefer fun of the indoor variety, nearby Bethel offers an indoor climbing wall, laser tag, a movie theater and shopping. When it's time to eat you'll have your choice of more than 20 restaurants and over 10 bars, including a microbrewery. And best of all, there's a free shuttle serving Sunday River and the Bethel area.
