Mountain Report | January 6, 2009

With this beautiful calm sunny day, you'd never guess what's on the horizon!  The groomers will be out in full force tonight, prepping the mountain as the clouds gather for a winter storm slated to drop 6" to 9" tomorrow during the day and into the night. We are currently running 10 chairs across all eight peaks and 100 trails, which will be the case tomorrow as well. The white stuff begins its descent around 8am. I'm saying it again. Snow!

Please note that Obsession will be closed through Thursday for the Men's Alpine NorAm.

We kicked off College Week last night with our annual Fire and Ice bonfire, but that is just the start of a week of activities, where the party won't stop. Tonight, check out  Stump! Trivia and Soul Clap DJ's Yo Yo Yo '90s Jam, presented by Red Bull. And, tomorrow, Rahzel will be here so take the snow day! Add ski and stay packages as well as $35 lift tickets for college students with a valid ID and why would you spend your break anywhere else?!

Children's Festival Week starts next week with great ski and stay packages available and the chance for the kids to ski, ride, and learn for free when they stay with their parents for three or more days.

Save big on lift tickets by buying them online with our E-Ticket program, and now you can double your savings when you buy online by taking 20% off the ticket price between now and January 18th. E-Tickets are valid any day of the season and must be purchased at least four days in advance.

Please note that value season pricing is in effect, and lifts open at 9am during the week, plus we offer 12-Hour Skiing and Riding on Fridays, Saturdays, and select holidays. As always, please remember to Go With the Flow.

Pow.

Sarah
