CPO Pool Maintenance Technician

The condominium maintenance department is in need of an Assistant Pool Technician. We are willing to train the right candidate if you do not have pool experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all maintenance within their assigned condominium pool areas. Duties include but are not limited too; snow removal: plowing, shoveling, salting, sanding and associated paperwork; common pool maintenance: damage repair on all systems, daily preventative functions, daily inspections, opening all pools by individual opening times, water treatment, responding to corrective conditions and associated paper work;

owner service pool maintenance: perform annual start ups on privately owned spas in accordance with current owner service procedures and associated paper work. This position is also responsible for material ordering, working safely and attending weekly safety meetings as well as ensuring guest safety, work area cleanliness and housekeeping of work area. This position may also need to respond to emergency calls. This position requires a valid, clean drivers license. This is a full time seasonal position with seasonal benefits.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to ensuring cleanliness of all linens, review policies and procedures as needed, keep laundry room neat and orderly, keep washers and driers free of dirt and lint, change water filters, contact maintenance when repairs or preventative maintenance is needed, assist housekeepers with cleaning rooms when needed. A team player is essential for this position as well as the ability to be self directed as needed.

Hotel Executive Chef

Sunday River is looking for a year round experienced executive chef.  This position will fill the role as the leader for the culinary team of the Grand Summit Hotel which would include Banquets, CAMP restaurant (including the Foxfire Room, the River Room and all hotel special events.  This is a hands on position requiring the ability to lead a staff of 20 people or more, while performing a specific job task within the operation.  The person is responsible to provide top quality products and service while managing within the budgeted labor, supply and cost of goods guidelines for their Grand Summit Hotel Food and Beverage.  The person will work in the kitchens, restaurant, and public areas when necessary and must be have a strong knowledge of, and be able to use all standard kitchen equipment.  The person must be physically able to spend the majority of their work day on their feet, climb stairs numerous times during their shift and be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lb. The shifts vary based on business levels and necessary job tasks including weekends and holidays.  A typical week may be 5 1/2 days (40-50 hours), with more time being needed during periods of extremely heavy business, for example Christmas week and Presidents week. The person must present a professional manner and have the ability to maintain their composure during pressure situations resulting from business levels and time constraints Leading a team of 20 people or more.  This position will be responsible for creative development of restaurant and banquet menus, staffing (hiring and separating, effectively training), scheduling, ordering, opening and closing of culinary operations, daily additions to the restaurant menus, daily team line ups, Food Safety including health inspections and professional cleaning standards, internal audits, budgets, inventory and cost of goods, ensuring a Grand Summit Culinary presence for the weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and relevant group preconference meetings, and any other assigned tasks.

Full-Time Year Round Position for a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join the Lift Maintenance Team.  Ideally, this person will have 3+ years fixed grip and detachable experience. Must have knowledge of mechanical equipment, heavy rigging, line work, AC/DC drives, low voltages electrical control circuits, and hydraulic systems. This position requires working at heights in extreme weather conditions, creative problem solving, and the ability to ski or snowboard. Responsible for summer lift preventative maintenance program. The Spa Manager plays a very important role in the daily operations of important role in the daily operations of the lodging division as well as the entire Sunday River Resorts The manager is responsible for driving sales and overseeing the execution/implementation of key business decisions for the spa and health clubs at The Grand Summit and Jordan Hotels. You will oversee the day-to-day activities of our spa to ensure all of our guests are consistently treated to an impeccable customer service experience, and that the operations run smoothly, efficiently and profitably. In addition, the Spa Manager has the responsibility for managing a team of massage therapists, estheticians, and receptionists. He/she will ensure that all policies/procedures have been clearly communicated and are adhered to, maintain positive employee relations and ensure that we are staffed with team members who can deliver best practice and high standards in all areas and services. Flexibility is important; this position will require availability to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Additionally, This position requires extensive daily contact with people  and requires a friendly helpful, outgoing personality.  The manager must have advanced computer skills including spa payroll being preferred. This is a full time year round position (50 weeks per year) with benefits.

Volunteer- Mountain Host

Sunday River is looking for Mountain Hosts Volunteers for the winter season.  First and foremost, the Mountain Host position requires strong skiing or snowboarding skills as well as the ability and willingness to adhere to all safety requirements, policies and procedures of Sunday River.  The Mountain Host responsibilities are  two distinct areas, guest service and education  and  on hill maintenance. The duties of the host are as follows, but are not limited to, maintenance functions of the resort to include, fencing, tower raising and lowering tower pads etc., providing quality guest service to all guests, educating guests on safe skiing and snowboarding and assisting patrol with crowd control, scene safety and answering guests questions.  The Mountain Host positions are volunteer positions and require a minimum day commitment to receive a season pass.
