Celebrate the end of summer with events and activities for the whole family at the annual Fall Festival! Whether you make a day trip or a weekend getaway with one of our lodging packages, we're happy to celebrate the cooling weather with you on Columbus Day weekend.

18th Annual North American Wife Carrying Championship  
11AM slopeside at South Ridge
 Elliot and Giana Storey of Maine took home the 2016 North American Wife Carrying Championships. 

34th Annual Blue Mountain Arts and Crafts Fair
9AM-5PM in South Ridge Lodge
Regional artists and artisans exhibit paintings, fine jewelry, pottery, woodworking, photography, and more at this long-standing craft fair with over 40 exhibitors located throughout the South Ridge Lodge. Interested vendors should email events@sundayriver.com  

Music Festival 
1PM to 5:30PM slopeside at South RidgeOutdoor music This year's musical line-up will be announced closer to the event. Past musical guests have included The Ghost of Paul Revere and the Jason Spooner Band.

Wine Tent
Noon to 3PM slopeside at South Ridge
If you're looking to sample some of the best wines paired with delicate offerings, then head to the Wine Tent. One ticket will get you an etched Sunday River logoed wine glass, samples, and appetizers.

Kids' Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest
3PM slopeside at South Ridge 
Fall Festival is all about welcoming in the new season, and what better way than with pumpkin pie? There is already plenty planned for Mom and Dad, which is why this timed pie eating contest is for kids ages 14 and under! 10 contestants will line up on stage to see who can eat their pumpkin pie the fastest—without hands or silverware. We call this a contest, but honestly, when a pie is involved, nobody loses. Kids can sign up at the event on Saturday afternoon at the center stage. Entry is free.

34th Annual Blue Mountain Arts and Crafts FairWooden Moose

4th Annual New England Corn Hole Championship
10AM slopeside at South Ridge
Grab a partner and start practicing now because $600 is up for grabs on Sunday, along with the title of New England Corn Hole Champion. Live music, BBQs, and a beer tent will accompany the action. 

Mountaintop Worship Service
10AM at the Peak Lodge
Reverend Don Coverdale hosts a Christian service overlooking the Mahoosuc Mountains. Boarding the Chondola begins at 9:30AM.

'Sunday Bloody Sunday' TentBloody Mary
10AM to 2PM slopeside at South Ridge
One tent dedicated to everything Bloody Mary. We provide the vodka and tomato juice, you choose from over 25 fixings. 

Music Festival

From the Mallett Brother Band to The Northside Ramblers, the Sunday of Fall festival Weekend always brings with it great music. Stay tuned for more information about this year's musical acts!

Kids Games and Pony Rides

Back by popular demand, the Lewiston High School Swim Team has created these carnival-like games that kids flock to year after year, like the duck and fish ponds, Plinko, spin the wheel, and dime toss. Wagon Rides
10AM to 4PM slopeside at South Ridge
Come meet Belgian draft horses Ben and Bill and nestle in for a free wagon ride around scenic Sunday River. Butch and Becky from Meadow Creek Farm have been coming to Sunday River for years offering this unique experience to all ages.
