The biggest, fastest event to ever hit Sunday River.
Red Bull Frozen Rush was the world's first-ever off-road truck race on snow. Eight 900-horsepower Pro-4 trucks and the best drivers in the world, including Red Bull athletes Ricky Johnson and Bryce Menzies, hit the slopes of Sunday River on January 10, 2014 to race in front of 10,000 fans. Drivers faced a custom on-snow course built by Sunday River's terrain park crew that featured step-up and step-down jumps, slalom gates, huge banked turns, and a giant over-under gap jump that had one truck clearing air while another truck raced below. The drivers navigated these features at speeds pushing 90 mph using one-of-a-kind spiked snow tires from BFGoodrich, keeping crowds on their feet the entire time.
Frozen Rush aired on NBC at on Sunday, February 2 at 3PM, right before the Super Bowl at part of the Red Bull Signature Series.
