Saturday, February 15

Video Games Event

Video Games Event is an interactive digital event that allows the participants to enjoy the freedom of riding with the creativity of filming and editing. They can compete with friends via voting for their favorite Video Game edit online. Winners will be Video Gamesawarded prizes the day of the event and edits posted online will be awarded based on points earned by the particular events deadline. Registration is currently closed. Those who have registered can check in at South Ridge Lodge outside ticket window station between 8-9:30 a.m. 

Apres Ski Party with Fast Times

3-6 p.m. at the Foggy Goggle Fast Times is the ultimate 80's flashback band. Playing songs from Def Leppard, Journey, and Bon Jovi, they'll have you teasing your hair and grooving on the dance floor all night long.

Kids' Night Out

5-8 p.m. at the River House at South Ridge Base Area Kids ages 5-12 can enjoy evening activities, pizza, and a movie in a fun, supervised environment. Cost is $15 in advance before 4 p.m., and reservations can be made by calling 207-824-Kids with color5959. Cost at the door, or after 4 p.m. is $20.

Live Music

9 p.m. at the Foggy Goggle Party into the night with The Blues Brothers Tribute Band; a 10-piece, all-star group featuring members from The Band Beyond Description plus Portland's powerhouse funk band, Sly Chi.  Greg Martens plays Jake Blues with Jason Oullette as Elwood Blues... this band is on a MISSION FROM GOD. Ages 21+. No cover charge.

Black Diamond Family Entertainment Series presents: AudioBodyPeak Dinner

7 p.m. at the Grand Summit The Tardy Brothers are back and this time as Audio Body complete with an arsenal of audio-visual inventions, including wearable electronic jumpsuits that play music as they move, LED light tubes that are manipulated at high speeds in the dark, a 16-foot wide electronic drum-set, fluorescent light ropes that form the shapes of sound waves, and countless other unique performance gadgets.

Fireworks

8:30 p.m. in South Ridge base area Fireworks are best viewed slopeside at South Ridge or deckside at the Foggy Goggle. 2013/14 fireworks are presented by Atlas PyroVision Productions.

Sunday, February 16

3-6 p.m. at the Foggy Goggle Peter Joy brings a fun mix of lively music playing everything from classic rock, 90's, country, and Irish drinking songs. Peter's been playing all over the greater Boston area for more than 25 years as a solo act and lead guitarist for The Greg Buckley Band and The Peter Joy Trio. Peter's music reaches all ages and don't be surprised if he invites an audience member to join him for a song.

Wild Game Dinner featuring the wines of Michael David

7 p.m. at Sliders' Loft in the Jordan Hotel If you are feeling adventurous and love a fine wine, head to Sliders' Loft for a special dinner that will feature wild game dishes paired with the wines of Michael David. This dinner begins at 7 p.m. and costs $79 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling(207-824-5300.

Black Diamond Entertainment Series Presents: Benjamin Reynolds, Fire Performer 

7:45 & 8:15 p.m. at the South Ridge Base Area Watch as Benjamin Reynolds lights up the evening sky with his dazzling display of fire-dancing during this free performance outside of the South Ridge Lodge. Following his act is a fireworks show. Be sure to stick around for a dazzling fireworks display!

3-6 p.m. at Foggy Goggle  Royal Hammer is a six-piece roots reggae group from Portland, Maine. While heavily influenced by many of the reggae legends, the Royal Hammer takes great pride in the authenticity of their sound. Their grooves are deep and infectious and sure to have you wanting more!

Peak Dinner

7 p.m. at the Peak Lodge Ride the Chondola to Sunday River's mountaintop Peak Lodge for fine Dining at 2,100 ft. Our chefs offer a creative blend of fine cuisine and Maine ingredients you won't be able to resist. Bud Light Music Series Featuring Dead SessionsSnow Tubing

9 p.m. at the Foggy Goggle Over the past 14 years, Dead Sessions has grown and merged to become one of the favorite Grateful Dead experiences in the Northeast. With an unmasked joy that pours off the stage, Dead Sessions are loved by all Grateful Dead fans.

Zipline Tours Ziplines

Discover some of the resort's most beautiful and hidden spots with a Zipline Tour that zips through the Maine woods and back and forth over a ravine and stream bed. Available at 1 p.m. every day throughout the week. Reservations recommended for the Tour, 800-543-2754, but walk-ins welcome if space is available.  

Twin Ziplines 

Our Twin Zips give you the rush of flying through the air down a 750-foot zipline. Plus, with two side-by-side zips you can race your friends!  The Twin Zips are the perfect introduction to the zipline experience and are a great option for those who don't have the time to take our full Zipline Tour. Cost is $15 for two runs. Open 4-8 p.m. all week. Sign up at South Ridge Base Lodge.

Snow Tubing Night Skiing

On Sundance trail every night this week at South Ridge. The course is built on a nightly basis just for our guests. Swing by the Welcome Center in South Ridge Lodge to grab your ticket.

Night Skiing

The sun never sets in the land of cool and that's certainly true at Sunday River. Thanks to Night Skiing and Riding, you can keep playing well into the evening and get even more out of your days on the mountain. Night skiing will be open until 8 p.m. throughout Presidents' Vacation Week for just $5 (February 14-22).
