Resort Kick Starts Winter Season with More Snowmaking and New Early Season Pass Product

New pass provides skiers and rider with unlimited access to Sunday River from its opening day through December 24, 2017

Sunday River Resort makes snow on its T2 trail on Locke MountainNewry, Maine (October 17, 2017)-Sunday River Resort made snow this morning, conveniently timed with the launch of its new early season pass product, the Kickstarter Pass.

Now on sale, the Kickstarter Pass provides skiers and rider with unlimited access to Sunday River from its opening day through December 24, 2017. On sale now online and by phone at 1-800-430-0772, pricing for Kickstarter passes is as follows: $159 for adults, $129 for teens, and $99 for juniors.

This morning's snowmaking took place on Sunday River's T2 trail located on Locke Mountain.

Known for having the most dependable snow in New England, Sunday River's extensive snowmaking system allows the resort to open in late October or early November and stay open until May 1. T2 trail is typically Sunday River's first to open.
