GLBTQ Skiers Hit the Slopes of Sunday River February 3-5, 2017

Ski resort’s 7th annual White Out Weekend includes new events and activities as well as lift ticket and lodging packages starting at $159

January 18, 2017

Newry, ME (January 18, 2017)-Sunday River and Outryders-New England's largest GLTBQ ski and snowboard club-are going to WOW loud and proud during their annual White Out Weekend party, scheduled for February 3-5, 2017 at Sunday River Resort.

Synonymous with what has become a huge on-snow celebration for the gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, and questioning communities, Sunday River's White Out Weekend (WOW) is dedicated to special GLTBQ events as well as deals both on- and off-snow.

This year, WOW will include a theme party at the newly opened Trails End Restaurant and Tavern, as well as an on-snow Rainbow Connection scavenger hunt. Other annual WOW event favorites include planned ski socials, après-ski gatherings, and the much anticipated "Football Glam" party with DJ Maryalice at Sunday River's mid-mountain Peak Lodge.

In addition to this year's WOW schedule of events, guests will enjoy Sunday River's fireworks show planned for Saturday night, and should check out the new Mountain Room restaurant at the Peak Lodge. Snow tubing and night skiing are also available on both Friday and Saturday evening of WOW.

For more information on White Out Weekend, including lodging and lift ticket packages starting at $159 per person, per night, visit or call 800-543-2754.
