What better way to celebrate Sunday River's birthday? Winterfest Weekend is all about fun on snow plus a plethora of activities to celebrate, like the torchlight parade, Santa meeting, SR's birthday party, and of course the annual season opener for twilight skiing when the South Ridge Express operates until 6:30PM

Meet Santa in the Welcome Center, and get your final gift requests in!
Enjoy the trail of lights as the torchlight parade winds it's way down Escapade to Broadway, and ends in the South Ridge Basin.
Kick off twilight skiing for the season by taking some runs under the lights at South Ridge.
Watch the fantastic fireworks show by Central Maine Pyrotechnics.
