Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation promotes year-round education and training for individuals with disabilities to develop skills, enhance independence, and provide enjoyment through active recreation.

Sunday River is proud to sponsor and serve as the home of Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation.
Each winter, the organization teaches over 1,800 free adaptive lessons at Sunday River from early January through March, thanks to the support of roughly 400 volunteers.
