Semifinalists Set for The Sixth Annual Dumont Cup at Sunday River Resort

A field of 83 amateur competitors was whittled to 22 after a full day of high-flying antics at The Dumont Cup on Friday

After two qualifying sessions, 22 amateur (Saturday, March 29 update) competitors remain and will move on to the next round, Saturday's semifinals. There they'll compete against the largest roster of professional skiers at The Dumont Cup to date: Olympian Bobby Brown and Torin Yater-Wallace; McRae Williams, Alex Schlopy (also a past Dumont Cup Champion), Matt Walker, Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, Chris Laker, Vinnie Gagnier, PK Hunder, and Kai Mahler. Come tomorrow's finals, 12 of these athletes will advance to compete against last year's Dumont Cup podium who also happens to be this year's Olympic slopestyle podium.

An off-road truck race like no other, Red Bull Frozen Rush will bring eight 900-horsepower Pro4 trucks and their experienced professional drivers to the slopes of Maine's renowned Sunday River Resort for a head-to-head race on the steep and unpredictable snowy terrain.   Conquering the slopes doesn't come without its set of technical challenges. Each racing truck has to be specifically modified in order to adapt to the harsh weather conditions.
