The Sunday River SnowSports School offers seasonal programs for kids and adults that provide fun and skill improvement for all ages and abilities.
These programs run on weekends and holidays starting in mid-December.

Mini Runners
A season-long program that focuses on building confidence and skills in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.

Gould Academy Competition Program
A season-long program that runs on weekends and holidays, focused on teaching young athletes the skills to compete in alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, or snowboarding.

Mini Runners Program Details
- Mini Runners is open to all abilities and is the perfect entry into a season-long program.
- The program is only for ages 3 & 4.
- Mini Runners program operates from 9AM-12PM.
- The program meets on weekends throughout the season.
- Children under age 7 will need to ride the chairlift with an adult. Please be aware that this adult may not always be their coach.
- The program does not include a season pass or lift ticket.
- Limited spots are available for the 2025/26 season.

River Runners Program Details
- River Runners is for ages 4-16 for children who are comfortable skiing on green terrain independently.
- Children are grouped by age and ability within a pod. Programming runs from 9AM-1PM
- Children under 7 will need to ride the chairlift with an adult. Please be aware that this adult may not always be their coach.
- The program meets on weekends throughout the season.
- The program does not include a season pass or lift ticket.
- Limited spots are available for the 2025/26 season.

The Gould Academy Competition Program (GACP) is designed for advanced skiers and snowboarders ages 8 to 19, with special programs for future stars ages 6 to 7, and ski cross for ages 12 to 19.

- For teenagers interested in becoming coaches.

Masters of the Mountain Program Details
- Designed for intermediate to advanced skiers.
- The program does not include a season pass or lift ticket.
- Led by PSIA-certified coaches.
- The program meets on Tuesdays for 5 week periods. Guests can participate in either the January or February sessions, or both. Please note, these are two separate program sessions.
- The Masters of the Mountain Program meets 1-3PM at the SnowSports School in South Ridge.

Other Clubs
Sunday River Ski and Snowboard Club
For those who visit Sunday River regularly and want to get involved with supporting the mountain’s competitive athletes.
Prime Time Club
A social group of Sunday River skiers ages 50+ who meet at 10AM downstairs in the Peak Lodge on North Peak Mondays through Fridays during the ski season.
